Episode 40: Melbourne Now - Ewan McEoin

In this episode, Jan Henderson meets Ewan McEoin, Consultative Curator at the Melbourne Now exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, to discuss his role in creating arguably the most exciting and engaging exhibition of architecture, design and urban planning issues Melbourne has ever seen.

Ewan McEoin is one of Australia’s most experienced Creative Directors, he regularly leads business events and establishing start-ups as they create their own space in a cluttered market. Ewan has held numerous key roles in the Australian design industry at the helm of leading magazines, festivals and major government initiatives around competitive advantage.

After many years promoting the value of design and sustainability Ewan now focuses on applying the design process within government and industry – assisting organisations of varying scales to innovate, develop communications, products, publications or business strategies. With a background in environmental science and a keen interest in social entrepreneurship, Ewan is motivated by an agenda to enable both industry and society to plan today for the challenges or tomorrow. To remain relevant, ethical and competitive. To empower creativity and embrace challenges as opportunities for new thinking.
