Maritime Museum

The Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour in Sydney has recently opened a new building, a pavilion on the finger wharf that provides both a visitor centre and access to the naval Destroyer-class vessel and the Submarine housed at the site. Designed by FJMT studio, the building was inspired by the wave-like movement of the water beneath the wharf. Clad almost entirely in Kingspan panels, the building expresses unique shapes and movement from its innovative exterior treatment. The story behind the building coming soon.
