Episode 140: Indigenous Architecture - Andrew Lane
This week on ArchiTel, we continue our Indigenous Architecture series as Jan Henderson talks with Andrew Lane, one of the very few Aboriginal registered architects in Australia! We were fortunate to meet him at the MPavilion's inaugural Regional Program called Blakitecture in December 2017. Blakitecture invites Indigenous built environment practitioners to have a dialogue about design, reflecting ideas of Aboriginal's history & tackling how Indigenous architecture will look like in the future.
Andrew runs IndigDesign, an indigenous architecture practice and works in Gordanvale (Queensland). His practice also has an interior design service and sells indigenous inspired textile print products and designs. Have a look here.
