John Gollings: Eye for Architecture

Dir. Sally Ingleton

Eye For Architecture takes us on a unique journey into the world of cutting edge architecture in Australia and the Asian region through the personal lens of architectural photographer John Gollings.

Known as the unofficial curator of Australian architecture, a Gollings photo can turn an ordinary building into art, helping it get published or win an award. We follow Gollings on a journey from the modern city of Melbourne to the rapidly changing Asian region – from it’s ancient cities like Angkor in Cambodia and Hampi in India to the modern face of today’s China. He provides us with an inside view of his personal influences and what it takes to create memorable images.
